GhaiYon Project

Mini Album

I have new musical project beside HBC48, called GhaiYon Project. GhaiYon derived from Ghaida and Yona, as you maybe already knew that i like JKT48 and we decided use the combination of its member name as our newest project name. Simply because i am fans of Ghaida and my partner is fans of Yona. The thing is, we do not have vocalist and we started composing music only on instrumental format. Apparently, composing music is way harder than just playing a single music instrument but somehow we manage to compose several songs.

At some time, i discovered virtual singer software and it was definitely boost our musics. They were better compared to previous vocal-less version. We uploaded our project in Soundcloud and YouTube. There is not so many audience now and i think will never be LOL. The most important part is we love to create music and will continue to do so. Well, if you curious about our music, please check link below. Our mini album titled A Tribute and most of the song tell stories about JKT48 from our perspective. Enjoy it !!!!

My Business

T-Shirt Company

It has been a very long time since my last post. Many things happened and unfortunately i did not have much time to write on this blog. Well, i decided to revive my blog once again and hopefully i will post regularly.
Back in 2016, i had a startup business together with my two partner which were a clothing company. The name was SABURO meets YAMADA. Philosophy behind the name was SABURO is a common guy name in Japan, while YAMADA is a common girl name also in Japan. The two met represent union of two different world. Me and my partners are Indonesian, yet our design heavily based on Japanese culture. Our company motto is Authentic Japanese-aesthetic Styled Clothing, derived from our intention to provide design which are clean, unique, and acceptable even by someone who are not really into Japanese scene. Here is our logo below.

However, things do not go as smooth as we want to be. Me and my partners had to separated our way and our company become inactive for almost a year. Now in 2018, i decided to re-activate SABURO meets YAMADA in the new platform. You can visit our store in tees.co.id and also my personal store in threadless.com.

Kaizen Matsuri

Japan Culture Festival

Today i went to Kaizen Matsuri which was a japan culture festival event held by SMA N 5 Solo. I always looking forward for this kind of festival because of the food stands, band competition, and especially the girls THE COSPLAYER.
The most interesting about cosplay is we could see our favourite characters from manga or anime even from video games come alive. Back to Kaizen Matsuri, i've saw a plenty of cosplayer from many kind of characters and actually they were pretty good. I took photos from cosplayer who really caught my attention.
First one was Sasori from Naruto. I like it because the costume, the wig, even the person were really perfect to became Sasori. Well at least in my opinion ~LOL~.

Sasori
The second was character from Monster Hunter. The costume detail simply outstanding. No wonder it took about six months to finished the costume. The strongest point was the sword. It looked like there was some kind of dragon scale on the sword, not to mentioned there were also horns (or tusks?) too on it.

Character from Monster Hunter
Next, actually i did not knew what was the character from but, the costume itself pretty amazing. Full body knight armor in blue. One thing for sure this costume was done perfectly fine. The detail in helmet, sword, also the breastplate looked great too with the emblem. Good job.

Blue Armor Knight
You wear hijab but want to do cosplay? Do not worry. Maybe this cosplay will do perfectly fine on you. Meet Lacus Clyne from Gundam SEED Destiny cosplay with hijab. Very creative.

Last but not least, this cosplay would be your solution if you had a very tight budget for your costume. One black long hair wig and a long white dress (?), put it on together then ...

SADAKO
In the festival today, several guest stars were performed there but my most favourite act was from an all-girl band called Paper Doll. Girls with music instrument never failed to amaze me. They were played two song from japanese all-girl band, SCANDAL, which were Namida no Regret and Shoujo S. They did well on the stage and the crowd sang together with them. I'm looking forward to see their performance again and also they mentioned that they had changed their format from dance cover group into band (?).

Paper Doll
Well, Kaizen Matsuri was pretty fun and i can't wait for the next similar event in the future.

Plano In Action

Planofest

Last saturday, 18th October 2014, Planofest was held in Ngarsopuro. Planofest was the main event from Plano In Action. Plano In Action is an annual event from HMPWK May Virida, the student association of PWK UNS.
The guest star were : Jungkat-Jungkit, Bimanada, Onevcer Dance, Minus Percussion, Traditional Dance from FSSR UNS, and Finalists from Accoustic Competition. The show was outstanding, there was so many people gathered there and the weather was great too. The event started at 06.30 pm and ended at 11.00 pm.
I think the show was successful but i found that trash can was pretty hard to found around the venue. Maybe the committee for next event will considers this issue. Speaking of the guest stars, i personally think they were great performer but the one that actually caught my attention was Jungkat-Jungkit. Jungkat-Jungkit are a duo from Solo. Their members are Adis as vocalist/guitarist and Said as guitarist. They were using only accoustic guitar at the event but the sound that they were produced actually pretty rich, not to mention that the vocalist had an unique voice too.
Well i hope Planofest will gain more popularity and manages to creates an event that more outstanding than this year's event.

New Single From HBC48

Two Original Songs

Remember my band HBC48? We have new member, Leo, as vocalist and we have logo too. After a very long time just jamming together, finally we have our own song. We wrote two songs which are "Elegi Realita dan Harapan" and "Bertahan Tanpamu".
Elegi Realita dan Harapan is a song about a man who realise that he can't force his feeling to the woman and if he really care about the woman then seeing her being happy is enough for him.
Bertahan Tanpamu is like the sequel from previous song, the man have to move on from the woman who is very dear to him but he just can't forget her that easily.
I personally think these songs are good but we cannot afford to record this song in a proper way, just using simple sound recorder though. So i apologize if the result isn't good enough. Well i hope you'll enjoy our songs.

Let's Try Something New

First Design

My major is Urban and Regional Planning, it means i'm study mostly about planning, city, and everything around them. We do use software to make our task easier or to visualize it. There are so many software that we can use such as Geographic Integrated System GIS) or Sketchup. Actually my major mostly use GIS but i do more attracted to sketchup because this software can visualize in 3D (GIS can do this too but i think Sketchup more user-friendly).
I'm learning how to use Sketchup by watching tutorial in YouTube or looking for some literature about it on  the web. After sometimes i decided to created city block with Sketchup. It's pretty massive task to do because usually Sketchup was used for more detailed job with smaller scale, but the good side was because i was planning to create city block, detail was the last thing i should worry of. The area was 0,42 kilometres squared. It took me about two weeks before my project was finished and about 45 minutes to be rendered for each view. I called it Project Goddam City because someone told me to, thanks for the name by the way.
It's still far from perfect but i'm proud of it. Do you like it people?

Looking Back In Time

Since Last Time

It has been almost one year since my last post here in my blog. A lot of thing has happened since then. Now i'm officially graduate from my university. I've been doing some project with my friends, some of them were "Perencanaan Kawasan Malioboro" and "Desa Lestari Berkelanjutan". Too bad that none of  them won the competition but still the experience itself was enough. I'm still looking for my first job though, and apply for scholarship to continue my study abroad.
And for my band, HBC48, we had to pause our activity since our guitarist had to work in the another town. I can play guitar now a little bit and i hope it can improve my bass playing. I think my band was getting better in the last few month but it's too bad that we have to pause our activity. Since it's just a hobby so soon or later this will happened anyway. Maybe i will post our performance next time.
Right now i am trying to pursue career in Bappenas and at the same time still looking for scholarship abroad. Well let's just hope for the best for now.
